David Hina opened with prayer

David Hina led a devotional from Matt 28:19-20, recalling our mission and focus

David initiated a discussion of the purpose for the Ministry Leaders Mtg & of the frequency of meetings

David led a discussion of communication within the teams

  • Need for monthly communication will be met by contacting member regarding prayer needs

Bulletin Board used to communicate about ministry teams in order to encourage those who aren't involved to join a team

  - Discuss each team (10 min x 4)

Education and Discipleship

  •  Roddy will teach the older elementary class starting this Sunday
  • The team will look into revitalizing the library and getting people more involved in using it

Worship and Lord's Day/Administration and Communication
  • Wil will organize a team meeting soon to organize this team
  • The session will take the necessary steps to help facilitate the transfer of treasurer duties from Daphne to Steve

Hospitality and Outreach

  • Needs to meet to coordinate fellowship dinners
    • Consensus was to continue dinners
    • Opportunity for children, missionaries, etc to present

Building and Grounds

  • Team will schedule quarterly workdays
  • Team will look at creative ways to carry out special projects

We will meet again in a month to a month and a half.

Terry brought up the question of how we might generate feedback from the congregation.
