Purpose:  Assist with the maintenance of our facility, and lead outreach of a physical/structural nature members in need, and within the local community.

Members: Brad (leader), Jen, Nathan, Geoff, Josh, Terry C.

Near Term Focus

  • MEET.  Next meeting at SEPTEMBER 25 Sunday Luncheon.
  • PRAYER.  Thank the Lord for His provision with the new roof and parking lot maintenance.
  • SERVICE.  Items needing planning/discussion:
    • Providence Facility Work Day for Oct or Nov?  Schedule and coordinate a facility/grounds “workday” on a Saturday next month.  A list of items has been started.
    • Plan for mowing for 2017.  Work out a plan for lawn maintenance for next year
      • Geoff has decided not to continue mowing, so we will need a plan for next year.
      • Do we want to allocate money in the budget for next year to build a shed and get a riding mower?  This would allow us to have a "green team" rotation among a few families to mow the lawn, and/or to provide work for someone in financial need
    • Provide Doug with some work?  Doug Grubb is currently without a job and in financial need.  If we have some suitable work (painting, pressure washing, etc.) that Doug could do during the week, we could go ahead and use him.  Would just need task description and materials, and Pastor David can coordinate.  Also, if anyone knows of ongoing work for Doug in the local area (Doug is w/o a car) that would be useful.
    • Maintenance Efforts in Local Community.  Currently we don't have specific plans, but keep this in mind if someone knows of a specific need.
