Placeholder for items that need to be communicated with the body of Providence through some means.

August 2017

The following items need to go into a newsletter:  

  • We've now have another way to "get the word out" about what's going on at Providence.  No promises about frequency of this newsletter, but we are going to try to get it out monthly.
  • Group of people going to "The Just Shall Live by Faith" conference at Faith Presbyterian in Morganton.  Leaving at 9am, 10/14, back at 10pm.  Details about the conference can be found online.
  • Thank you to Geoff Grubb, who has volunteered to keep the lawn cut!!  Please talk to him if you'd like to help in some way (weed-eating assistance is always welcome...)
  • Adult SS class description:  Covenant Theology.
  • Book table description.
  • Fall Men's & Women's Bible Study plans.
  • Upcoming events:
    • Eclipse
    • Fellowship Luch

November Items

  • Steve Yount to be taking over from Daphne as Treasurer (he is part of the Worship/Admin Ministry Team)
  • Picnic tables (2) moved from courtyard out to gravel area just outside of the playground
  • We will be starting to take family pictures for our online PCC directory.

  • Deacon situation:  Josh Grubb (will or will not?) be stepping aside for a time
