Hospitality and Outreach Ministry Team

Purpose: Encourage fellowship to create unity within the church, provide outreach to the community, and coordinate missions’ functions to reach the world.

Members: Roddy (leader), Dale, Marilyn, Kelly, Mary Y.

Near Term Focus

  • MEET:  Next meeting at SEPTEMBER 25 Sunday Luncheon.
  • PRAYER.  
    • That God would increase our desire to reach out to the community & world around us on the basis of our love for Christ.
    • That God would help us to further recognize and use the spiritual gifts within the body.
    • That God would open our eyes to specific people, or a people group, that we can begin serving (to meet the needs of the whole person - physical and spiritual)
  • SERVICE:  Items needing planning/discussion:
    • Meals:  Discuss meals being provided to Dick Smith and family - should we continue?
      • May need to speak with Dick and assess the need
      • We also have limited resources, so we might now be able to continue with meals
    • Oct. 6 CMA Meeting:  PPC will be hosting the Oct. 6 meeting of the Cherokee County Ministerial Assoc.
      • Meeting will be at noon, for one hr.
      • will need to provide a fairly simple lunch for 10-15 people (sandwiches?)
    • Outreach:  Are there any other individuals or families that we should be helping in some way?
